Country Day’s Lower, Middle and 上学校s combine to create a vibrant, supportive community with strong academics and rich offerings in the arts and athletics. A school like Country Day expects students to be involved in a number of different activities across a variety of areas: our football players participate in the fall drama production and compete for the Science Olympiad team, our photographers sing in the Small Vocal Ensemble and play baseball, and our Student Senate representatives play in the Jazz Band. A perfect example of a project that transcends boundaries is the Hour of Code.
There is no way to describe a “typical” Country Day student, except to say that our students usually pursue a broad range of extracurricular activities while they are here. Country Day students work hard both in the classroom and beyond it to prepare themselves for a diverse, constantly changing world. Established in 1929, Metairie Park Country Day School is a coed private school for New Orleans area students in early childhood through Grade 12.
