• 什么是运动教练?

  Athletic trainers are healthcare providers who specialize in preventing, 评估, 治疗, and rehabilitating injuries and illnesses. Athletic training is practiced by athletic trainers and health care professionals who collaborate with physicians to optimize activity and safe participation of patients and clients.   To become certified athletic trainers, students must graduate with a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program and pass a comprehensive test administered by the Board of Certification. Once certified, they must meet ongoing continuing education requirements to remain certified.

  Country Day employs a certified athletic trainer available during regular school hours and after school and is present at all home events and practices. Our athletic trainer travels with teams as deemed necessary; however, 如果不能这样做, medical coverage is coordinated at away events to provide adequate care for Country Day student-athletes.
